1. POINTS can be used from the time your students enter your class until they leave.
2. POINTS can effect what children do in their spare time away from school.
3. Students can earn POINTS for doing extra things at home to better themselves.
4. Punctuality problems are a thing of the past. Students literally run to my class so they can receive POINTS for being on time.
5. When the bell rings at the end of class, students are asking to continue class because they are in competition for CLASS PARTICIPATION POINTS.
6. Students who look for attention for acting up realize they can gain attention as well for showing proper behavior and they want to be acknowledged with POINTS.
7. Points requires extra energy from the teacher, but class participation has increased 800%.
8. Students are learning to be responsible with the POINTS because points can be cashed in for fun activities.
9. POINTS gives the teacher leverage and makes the student have a better attitude about the consequences of their behavior and academics.
10. Students will even try to set contracts to do better for themselves if they can be rewarded with POINTS.
11. I have been using POINTS this school year and I enjoy it. The students have a new attitude and so do I. Last week students with multiple POINTS were treatedto a pizza party, now everyone is trying to stay on point!
